This course is designed to provide child care settings with approved Paediatric (12 hr) First Aiders. The course is ideal for those who are going to be a nominated First Aider in the Nursery / School.
Anaphlaxis, How to use an Epi-Pen and Asthma are also covered during the course.
Course Structure.
Part 1: The first 6 hrs is completed by e-learning at a time to suit you. You can log on and off as many times as you want completing bite size chunks as you please.
Part 2: The Second 6 hrs is completed face to face with your trainer who will ensure you have understood the theory and be competant in the practical elements of the course.
Note: Part 1 must be completed before attending Part 2.
8 & 15 Mar 2018 Westbury 6.30pm - 9.30pm. 3 hrs each night.
7 Apr 2018 Westbury 9.30pm - 4.00pm. 6 hrs.
2 & 9 May 2018 Westbury 6.30pm - 9.30pm. 3 hrs each night.

On completion of the course students will recieve a qualification certificate valid for 3 years issued by EFA Training approved by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).

Annual Refresher Training:
Due to First Aid skill fade the HSE now strongly recommend that all First Aiders attend annual refresher training. This is a three hour course. Please contact us for course dates and venues. Remember we can also come and train at your premises.
